 ‘A breath taking August wedding with an outdoor ceremony and an emotional grooms reaction!’

This couple’s winter-inspired wedding combined soft blues, whites, and greens with bursts of colourful confetti. They blended English tradition with vibrant Indian touches, from Dhol drummers to surprise evening outfits. Creating a winter wonderland wedding with a cultural twist. Kelham House wowed them with our beautiful spaces, stunning grounds, and incredible team who made planning stress-free. Describe your wedding in 3 words… 

Words taken from my guests… Breathtaking, enchanting, stunning 

What was your inspiration for your special day?

My wish was to get married outside in a beautiful setting.

What was the highlight of your wedding day?

Approaching the aisle and seeing the smile on Dale’s face whilst the sun beamed. A memory that will last forever.

Why did you choose Kelham House?

I didn’t know how much I wanted my day to take place in a country manor until I walked into Kelham and it felt great.

How did you decide which menu was right for your day?

I tried to cater for all guests for both food and drink.

What was the hardest part of your wedding planning?

The seating plan!

What were your favourite parts of the venue?

The view from the back looking up at the house.

If you have any advice for new marrying couples, what would it be?

Make sure you have a videographer for your special day, it is my only regret that we didn’t book one.
