A luxury venue in the heart of Nottinghamshire
Kelham House is an Edwardian Manor built in 1903 by the Manners-Sutton family, who had previously owned Kelham Hall. It was a private house for many years before a local businessman bought the house in the 1980’s and it became known as The Red House, a reference to the red brick from the local Kelham brickworks used to build the house.
It operated as a restaurant with rooms and became a popular destination venue for its dining and events. After several ownership changes Heritage Estates acquired Kelham House in 2010, with it needing significant attention to make it reach its potential, a full refurbishment and re-development immediately began.
Our beautiful Garden Room was added in 2012 and provides ample natural lighting, air conditioning and is licensed for civil ceremonies as well as a great space to dine with us and then party the night away.
We have a purpose-built gazebo which is also licensed to hold outside civil ceremonies in our formal gardens, surrounded by our woodland and paddock land.
We have 12 ensuite bedrooms as well as suites shared between the main House and the adjacent Coach House, offering a tranquil and relaxed stay so you can keep your immediate family and friends close to you.
We have become a multiple award winning, highly popular boutique wedding venue with our constant focus being on our customers. We offer truly bespoke and tailored weddings and events that are designed and delivered with making your day everything you could have dreamt of.
We’re here to give you seamless service and a bespoke experience to make your wedding day totally unique. Over the last decade we have also become one of the most in demand venues for parties, private dining experiences and meeting and conference destination venues in Nottinghamshire.

Since we took ownership of Kelham House in 2010 we have seen the venue go from strength to strength, working tirelessly with our team to create a beautiful, functional and welcoming place for our customers to enjoy.

All our events are hosted on an individual basis and we work with our guests to be open and available for their needs.
Our Wedding and Event planning team work office hours and some out of hours for evening and weekend meetings.
