I didn’t expect to be writing another blog post so quickly after the last one however, when amazing things happen – it would be rude not to tell you!
On the 16th May the team attended the prestigious I do Wedding Awards in Sheffield. A Record number of entrants narrowed down to 122 finalists, with 30 winners on the night, the 8th annual 2023 I Do Wedding Awards were a record breaker all round!
Representing team Kelham House were Wedding and Events Manager Claire, Wedding Coordinator Jessica and Food and Beverage Supervisor Tammy. They enjoyed mingling with other suppliers over a fabulous drinks reception before sitting down to a 3-course meal.
Then it was time for the awards itself, if you watch the video – you’ll see exactly how surprised they were to win ‘Best independent Venue’ in the midlands. Receiving the ‘GUESS WHAT? WE WON!’ text message was absolutely fantastic! Big cheers and smiles all round!
Of course, they enjoyed celebrating that evening before bringing the shiny new award back to the office.
A massive WELL DONE to all the team, front and back of house. An award recognising not only the team, but the venue itself. Another proud moment and award for the fireplace (make sure to look next time you visit – we’re running out of space!!)
The Newark Business awards are next in June where we are finalists again (after winning two last year!)
