Describe your wedding in 3 words…

Our perfect day!

What was your inspiration for your special day?

Our inspiration was a blend of pastel colours to go with a spring wedding, and classic timeless styling.

What was the highlight of your wedding day?

There were so many, its difficult to choose just one. We did both loved our welcome into our Wedding Breakfast followed by a table dash around the room.

Why did you choose Kelham House?

From the moment we arrived at Kelham, we both fell in love with the venue. We loved how secluded it felt and how the venue was entirely ours on the day. Also, we loved the open, beautiful room to have both our ceremony and reception but also really liked how flexible you were with potentially having the wedding outside at such short notice. We also loved that stunning open grounds for photos but also for socialising both before and after the ceremony. Having 2 bars and numerous rooms to stay in (as well as get ready in) was also a huge bonus.

How did you decide which menu was right for your day?

For our meal we chose: deep fried brie, chicken and white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake. In the evening we chose the pizza buffet.

We both wanted a main which was widely liked by all. We then chose the starter and dessert by going off our own personal choices.

What was the hardest part of your wedding planning?

Nothing felt particularly hard as Natalie was so great at handling and organising everything. If I had to pick something it would possibly be just the number of choices we had to choose from.

What were your favourite parts of the venue?

Ceremony and reception room is the perfect setting for a wedding. Also, the beautiful grounds, so many spots to go for photos!

If you have any advice for new marrying couples, what would it be?

Try and organise things gradually and be open to ideas.
