Hayleigh and Josh

Wedding Date – 4th August 2025
‘A joyful summer wedding featuring UP!-inspired details and stunning golden hour photos’

Hayleigh and Josh’s summer wedding at Kelham House was the perfect mix of heartfelt moments, personal touches and relaxed celebration. Inspired by the Disney Pixar film UP!, their stationery set the tone for a day filled with joy, laughter and meaningful details, including table names dedicated to their favourite TV and film duos. From an emotional ceremony to stunning golden hour photographs around the grounds, every part of their day reflected who they are as a couple. Add in a crowd-pleasing BBQ menu and unforgettable speeches, and it’s easy to see why their wedding is best described in three words: joy, relaxed and laughter.

Read on to discover their favourite memories, venue highlights and advice for couples planning their own Kelham House wedding.

Describe your wedding in 3 words…

Joy, relaxed and laughter

What was your inspiration for your special day?

Our stationery was inspired by the Disney Pixar film UP! For our tables we named them after our favourite TV and film duos from Robin Hood and Maid Marion to Del Boy and Rodney!

What was the highlight of your wedding day?

Josh’s was seeing Hayleigh walk down the aisle.

Hayleigh has too many to choose from! Walking down the aisle to Josh, hearing Chelsie sing Secret Love, sharing moments of joy with family and friends and hearing all of the speeches.

Why did you choose Kelham House?

As soon as we came for a show around we knew it was the venue we wanted. It had everything we wanted (ceremony, reception and place to stay). The staff were a huge selling point too. They instantly understood us as a couple and were on hand to help us with anything. A huge mention to Natalie who was incredible! She was a dream to work with and made our day so special.

How did you decide which menu was right for your day?

We chose our menu based on variety and crowd pleasers. You can’t go too wrong with a BBQ on a summer afternoon and it fitted with the relaxed atmosphere we wanted to create.

What was the hardest part of your wedding planning?

Josh being told not to edit the online portal anymore, only joking! Probably chasing RSVPs. We used Withjoy which helped lots and made is so much easier for organising dietary requirements.

What were your favourite parts of the venue?

The house itself is gorgeous! We love the gardens too and woodland area. Our photographer was able to take some beautiful photographs in that area during sunset.

If you have any advice for new marrying couples, what would it be?

Do it your way! There will be lots of opinions and thoughts shared with you, all coming from a good place, but ultimately it is your day. We kept one thought in mind when planning, how will we feel about as part of our wedding in years to come?
